Tonight marked the culmination of months and months of work.  I published my 3rd novel.

When I started writing, I never in a million years thought I’d write a book.  When I started writing the sequel I thought “I probably won’t finish it.  Somewhere along the way, I stopped being a dude who writes, and started being an author.  There is a pretty clear demarcation point in the 2nd book where I stopped ‘writing a story’ and started taking this seriously.  I stopped looking at “how to market your novel” and started looking at “how to improve your writing.”

It shifted from something I did that I might make coffee money each month, to something I did that is going to be around forever.  A legacy.

Thank you to everyone who’s read the books.  Thank you to everyone who comments on www.whatzombiesfear.com, liked my facebook page www.facebook.com/whatzombiesfear.  Your support and comments are the reason I’ve kept going.  I wouldn’t, couldn’t have done it without you.
